Hi i have a few domains registered through IXwebhosting. And i have them on auto-re register when required.

However i keep recieving letters from the Domain registry of America for each domain. Giving me prices to re-sign up through them. I have been ignoring these letters.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I would contact them and tell them your situation.

You definitely want to ignore these letters. This is why I make my WHOIS contact details private. I actually had a guy call me on my cell phone once asking me if I needed hosting. I asked how he got my number he said the whois information. He said it is public information. The nerve of some solicitors.

I also got letters from maybe the same company or a similar company to what you are talking about wanting me to renew the domain with them. I contacted GoDaddy about this, because like you I had my domains on auto renew. They said to ignore the letters, because as long as I had it on auto renew noone could get my domain.

Just ingore these letters and I strongly recommend you make your whois info private. This will prevent future solicitations. I know there is domainsbyproxy.com and a couple of other sites like that, but your registrar should offer that service as an upgrade to your domain.
