I always get a letter at different times in the mail for the domains I own, its like "advertise with us and pay $xx a year" etc Anyone else get these? Or am I the only spam target
For years we've been getting mail from the Domain Registry of America (in Australia!!!) asking us to re-register our domains - only catch is that we'd then be transferring our domains to them. Their price is ridiculous but the way it's worded etc it seems like a genuine invoice, and not a sales letter. I bet they catch alot of people out with their pro-forma invoicing scam.
Wow. Those bastards send international mail also? Their letters are ridiculous! I've always wondered how many people fell for their invoice look-alike letters!
International? You better believe it! Plus we got a call the other day from a call centre representing a stock broker in New York. Skype Out is a marvelous thing. These guys are obviously having to hustle hard!
Yea, thats them. There so random, its like the have a list of each domain thats bought everyday then get the letter ready lol
