I know pagerank is overrated, and the tool won't always be accurate... But the point of the thread was to see how accurate it is...
You still miss the point, this tool cannot be accurate. For a tool to be accurate the tool owner needs to own all the information of the checked site and all the sites from where the link are coming in and so on. Also exactly how the algorithm works. Its been quite a time that Google has not disclosed its latest algorithm. Plus the importance that Google stopped giving to footer link (can be rumors) and same ip links. I think its high time webmasters start planning there sites Page rank instead of trying to assume what will be there sites Pagerank. If we follow certain things its easy to achieve PR5 for less than $50 / month. Simply make sure you've link on PR7 page that doesn't have not more than 20 inbound and outbound links and the your site home page doesn't have any out bound link (Any outbound link can cost you 1 PR). Next update your site can be PR5 (Again this has no reference, I'm saying this from my experiments and experience - it works for me). Regards
In 2007 - First update was 28th Jan - 2nd Update 29th April - Expected 3rd Update 27-30th July. Regards

Out of three of my sites, 2 were correct... The only one that was wrong was a directory... www.tampaprojects.com current pr: 3 predicted pr: 3 accuracy: 90.7% [B]new PR: 3 CORRECT[/B] www.silverlineweb.com current pr: 3 predicted pr: 4 accuracy: 91.7% [B]new PR: 2 (directory penalization) WRONG[/B] www.yourcode.info current pr: 2 predicted pr: 3 accuracy: 83.6% [B]new PR: 3 CORRECT[/B] Code (markup):
1 - Correct 2 - Correct 3 - Wrong although over the last new months I had predictions as high as 6 and as low as "0" so I guess on this day they got lucky
