Ok guys, I am new here. Let's talk about one of the most important ingredients to successful online business - traffic. We all have marketing strategies, don't we? Some people are able to bring thousands of visitors to their websites every day (spam free) without paying a penny.

How do you bring traffic to your website? If you pay for your advertisement, do they "pay off" in the end? If you don't pay to advertise your website, what techniques do you employ to bring thousands of visitors to your site daily (of course, I am only interested in legitimate techniques that are spam free).

signature links are overated!

I use adwords until I get my serps high enough.

 

Ok, fair enough.
Signature links suck.
So how do you make money then? Let's say you pay $100 to Google to advertise your website and you get 500 visitors to your site... Ok, so you spent $100 for 500 visitors and what the heck will you profit with only 500 visitors? I mean, return on investment seems so low in this scenario.

you spend money to bid on keywords.... then your placed priority depending on where your bid ranks you.

adwords has tools so you can see exactly what you are getting on your return. For instance on (and these are purely made up stats) lt could cost me 500$/day to be #1 for wedding dresses. Then I can tell from my adwords stats that for every 1$ i spend I make 50$

easy eh?

 

Well, I don't even theoretically think that you could make $50 with $1 investment. Anyways, come on, be honest, what return do you get on your investment?

Let's say you invested $100 in Adwords - how much did you get back? And how does Google know what's your ROI, they don't whether your visitors bought anything from you. The only thing they know is how many visitors clicked on your Adsense links. Right? How much do you get back for every $100 invested in Adwords?

Investor, yout getting under my skin today, but you said something I agree wth. Sig links are great. I get sooo much traffic with them. All the sales I've made so far with this adsense system was through sig links, while the adwords campaign blew.

The ROI on adwords sucks. I've used it to promote a lot of clickbank stuff and otherprofucts.

Ok, so how many forums do you participate in on a daily basis and how many visitors do you bring through signature links? (How many posts do you make) Please tell me more. Thank you.

I use two forums. Digitalpoint and sitepoint.

For a diferent site, I ran a newsletter and after bulding a site and putting a sig link, I got over 100 signups in a month. And cost me only 13.95 (domain +hosting)

 

Does spam really pay that well?

haha joking... seriously can I see your referal stats from dp on your sig links? I would love to see what "serious" traffic is.

I know this place is huge on sig links... obviously.

 

I gave you examples. Im not going to name specifics on what I make. I see you asking people for all these specifics and stating things like you have a clue.... honestly I think its rude

I agree,I post on forums that a similar to mine, leave the sig in the link, people view it sign up and stay. I get alot of traffic from the forums with over 500posts on.

Investor, when you joined this forum dude.. and rather than taking benefits from this forum, you just keep pin pointing what others are doing. Practically you should gain as much as knowledge you can get from this forum. This forum is full of knowledge base. Sorry for being straight forward, but i have been just seeing no healthy discussions in the threads started by you or participated by you. I am extremely sorry for my to the point opinion.
