    You have forgotten Russia, it has the chance to the the spoiler of the show. Russians are fantastic even after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, it can be seen that even their small fragmented republics did well in the Olympics, not to mention Russia.

    China, though has the advantage of being a host. But I would expect a close fight nonetheless.

    The title is close enough. ;)

    They were wonderful, but I have seen better torch lighting in other Olympics.

    They will get some in the Track & Field events, but not enough to lead the Medal Count.

    I'm looking forward to the watching Dara Torres, and Michael Phelps swim tonight. I hope Phelps can pull off 8 gold medals.

    Tomorrow is going to be US Vs. China in basketball. It's supposed to be one of the biggest sporting events to ever happen. The estimation is 1 billion+ people might watch it. I think it has the possibility of being a very good game. China will play with a lot of pride, and the US will give it their all.
