The guy from Nigeria who won the 26.5 Miles KICKED ASS!!! I'm from US, but must give credit where it's due. I'm happy our women won the 4/400 relay.

Who is banned for life?

That was an amazing marathon. One of the flatter marathon courses that they have had in the Olympics, but still 2:06:32 is incredible! (And he was from Kenya)

 

Yeah I don't know if he's talking about a DP member or if someone's been banned from the olympics. Do DP mods have jurisdiction over the olympics now?

 

Cool! If we do, then Baseball & Softball are hereby reinstated, and the 2016 Olympics are awarded to the excellent city of Chicago.

With a small hack to the "move thread" feature you could probably get 2012 moved there.

 

It's on the last page. Basically a Cuban Tae Kwon Doe athlete was disqualified, he got mad, then kicked the ref in the jaw. Not once has he apologized, and he's acted like he did nothing wrong since then. He truly could care less, or he's stupid. Now he is banned for life from the Olympics, and probably international competition. I'm sure Cuba isn't too happy about it either Cuban people take a lot of pride in their nation, and their representative was an embarrassment.
