Ok guys, so I have been refreshing a lot of my old on page SEO stuff but want to branch into the world of article marketing to build some good quality links and build traffic.

I have a few ideas for article topics already but I have some questions about how it all works. If I write 1 article should I submit that to many article directories or is it better to only submit unique content? I was thinking about starting a blog and also submitting the articles to ezine articles, would this be a problem?

As far as link building goes, do you place your links throughout the article with your keywords as the link text? or do you keep the link to the author column?

Should articles have the same title for the keywords you are targeting? Say I wanted to promote my "dog breeding" page would I write an article titled dog breeding and then just have my link to my page inside it?

Does anyone have any general advice including a list of the best article sites to submit too and any other tips?

    Thanks in advance!

For starters, yeah... you are going to need to use something that makes your articles unique. Google has been recently cracking down on duplicate content. They have some good algo´s so basically it´s good to use some software that has synonym based random text, or uses the "|" syntax to denote synonymic phrases and choose between them randomly.

ask me and I´ll show you some programs that do that.

Besides that, when placing your link bait, you are best going with one or two links max per article, and never make more than one link back to your actual site. The idea here is to make it look like another person wrote this article and is giving you props, or something like this.

Always use good SEO practices in your articles, like using good keywords, using keywords in your links that have some good SEO value.

There are also many programs called Article Spinners... and they usually have a list of sites built in that they can submit to. You might want to get creative with it though and find your own places to add to the list.

Thanks for the reply mate, would you recommend writing a unique article for each directory then rather than submitting the same one to say 5 directories?

As far as the title goes of the article should that be targeting your exact keywords or just the same niche?

    Thanks again

You can submit an article to hundreds of article directories, and get hundreds of backlinks. To get best results, you can spin the article into few new articles with spinning software.

The best way of article marketing link building is to come up with a full-page article advertisement for a particular keyword "dog breeding" where the keyword "dog breeding" will be placed with the article. Where it will redirect to another page. The nature of this article should be a unique one. Where one article should be published in one website. By this type of article development we can easy do link building services. We can also target for the particular keyword which increase more traffic and pr.

Ok some good info here guys thanks :D So the best way is to write one article say about "dog breeding" and then re-write that same article like 10-15 times depending how many article directories you want to submit it to?

How about actual article length here? Do some places have a limit of how many or few words each article can have?

And finally can anyone suggest a couple of top article directories for me?

    Thanks again
