Let's Start Commenting on Each Others Blogs

So I've seen quite a few posts on here asking why their blogs do not receive any comments. I thought it would be a nice thing for us as a DP community to take the time each day to comment on each others blogs. Sometimes blogging can get to the best of us, but knowing people are reading what we write can spur us on to continue.

So here's what I suggest.

1. If you want to join in, post a comment on this thread with a link to your blog.
2. If someone leaves a comment on your post, click on the link to their site and leave a comment in return. You don't have to join in every day but if someone takes the time to comment on your blog, you should comment back.
3. Don't post things like 'great post I want to read more'. Take the time to actually read one blog post and write a meaningful comment (this is good practice for any blog you post on)
4. Encourage each other through this thread as a community to continue. It's always interesting to read about something new, and we are also enabling our blogs to be social platforms where new readers who find our blogs via other means will be encouraged to comment.

I'm not asking people to click on people's Adsense links. All I'm suggesting is that we take the time to read each others blogs and comment on the posts.

 

I just commented on hang gliding blog post. I did it because I am a bit familiar with it. I did not leave a link to my blog.

 

why would commenting on a blog be against AdSense's Terms of Service?

Exactly, I have no idea either. I was hoping to get a community comments thing going where we can encourage each other to continue. Plus there are lots of other benefits. I'm worried that this comment has scared everyone off as I thought there would be a few people interested in this

Nice thinking but this is not the way to do it. work hard and people with comment without you asking them to.
