hello everyone, I hope this thread becomes a valuable resource for us all. you hear and read a lot about how your list is one of the most important keys to your marketing and money making success. Well, that is undeniable. so what I'd like for this to become is a catch-all for all of our best list building techniques. I own a marketing firm and have tried several different methods, some that worked and some that did not. for example, I've done a free opt-in for an article series on marketing. Went ok, got some response. Then I added a free SEO analysis and that also got a favorable response. Recently, I have changed my opt-in to a newsletter sign up. The results so far have not been great. Of course, I really haven't actively promoted this yet. i'd love to hear your suggestions on what an internet marketing company can offer to build a list. or any other type of business, be it internet-based or not.
Transparency is a key factor in success in any website and you have to be very honest and established rapport to your target audience.
Partnering with sellers in the same niche who already have established lists is always a good way. Solo ads are a similar concept, although you need to do your research when buying solo ads, as a lot of them are scams.
