"chatting with women, taxes, chatting with men ... ... about football" classic ... thanks for the post! makes me want to go back and dust off my Hayes 300... crap, has it been 26 years online? I'm ancient. ... Great, I started off laughing and now I leave with a looming mid-life crisis ... this interweb thing, crazy I tell you. If there's one fellow 80's sysop around here, cheers!
Funny Video! It looks like a commercial they'd show on Napoleon Dynamite. PS - I started making money online in 97. I believe FriendFinder and eBay both started in 97.
I was making money online in 1996, (I was 12). I ran a hotline server, a server where I would put warez and mp3s on it. I required people to signup for a free account at driveway.com where I got $1 per signup to get the password to download stuff. I made almost $500 a month, which I thought was pretty damn cool for a 12 year old.
