Let's face it: Google does not work any more and is THE WORST search engine

google is still ok, just not that good anymore

 

I shape my conclusions on a daily basis... by checking stats.
But there is a long term problem with Google most are not even aware of, and brought me out of lurking on this forum.
Google has no intention of fixing this problem, and the only way to stop the problem so far has been the education of webmasters...

Current problems are probably due to the ill-conceived (IMHO) crawl caching proxy servers which seems to be the source of year old caches, etc. Combined with redirect and cannonicalization problems (try site: searches with and without www for domains with good, solid 301 redirects in .htaccess across d/c's, or try this one: http://66.249.93.19/ ) Google isn't acting anywhere near as it should logically.

 

for me and my sites...conversions, sales and clickthroughs happen MOST from my google traffic...THEN yahoo...and hardly any sales from MSN (which I'm well-ranked on...then again...who isn't?)

 

lol, it dosen't make any sense to prove google THE WORST search engine. It still is used by majority of people around the world.

 

I disagreed with this point Google is and will be best for me for ever ...

 

es, those results do seem screwy, but you can't make a perfect search engine.
