I don't think they have started rewarding quality content at all. And as far as unique, they have always had penalties in place for duplicate content.

If anything they have tweaked what incoming links they will recognize and how much power they give to them.

As far as Yahoo and MSN, they are still a joke when it comes to how easily they can be manipulated. Of course that will never matter unless they get some market share.

i have done some link exchange for one of my site and got confirm links but still not any changes in SERP for that keywords so i think google is giving lower weight to reciprocal links these days.

I hope they are getting closer to this
As of now, i see that they are still focusing on anchor text. They are doing a good job on the Google Bombing thou..

I used to exchange links regularly and easily got high rankings in Yahoo and MSN, but for the last 3-4 months I've been focusing on one-way links only through various means, and am getting plenty of love from Google. My rankings in MSN and Yahoo have actually dropped slightly but this is more than compensated by the far higher traffic that I get from Google.

Google seems to be paying more attention to quality sites that have plenty of one-way links, which suits me fine.

I wish this was the case but its not (at least what I have seen). I have yet to see major changes in ranking leaning towards sites with the most unique, elegant content.

As far as links, I still buy one way links for my company, they still work just as well as they used to. Granted I know how to buy links, and how to make them look natural.

I can comment sitewides, recip's etc. dont work like they used to.

Nothing much seems to have changed with google IMO.

Yahoo seems to be doing a little better lately with ranking the correct sites.

    MSN... yea still utter crap.
