What would you do with 5,000 unique, copyscape passing articles (not spun etc.) in many different niches. How to make the most money out of the situation with as little work as possible Hypothetical question...
What is the reason for dealing with hypotheticals. We should be concentrating our efforts here on realities. And the reality is no one, unless they have written them themselves over the past few years, will have 5000 unique articles. But to play the game, how about building a website. or use the search function and do a search for web traffic, they always tell you what to do with the content you really do not have al
Just because a piece of content passes Copyscape doesn't mean it is unique. Even Copyscape Premium is not able to catch every instance of duplicate content. Have you written all the articles yourself? If not, you are NOT really in a position to claim that they are unique. Try running a simple Google search on some sentences from the articles with different combinations of words and synonyms and most probably you will find that the content exists in different versions on various pages. How much money you make out of them will depend TOTALLY on your selling skills. If you are able to convince a potential buyer that the content is high-quality, original and something that their website/blog really needs, they will pay the price you ask. If not, buyers will start bargaining and bring the price down drastically. Little or more, the amount of work will depend again TOTALLY upon how quickly you're able to locate the right buyers and crack a deal. How much editing the content needs also factors in. It is generally inversely proportional to how much suitable the client thinks you content is to their website. Selling pre-written content generally is NOT very profitable unless it pertains to very popular niches and is of an exceptionally high quality. The process involves finding a buyer who wants or needs it, then pitching and finally negotiating the price and terms of the sale. The chances to find a right buyer for pre-written content are VERY LOW. You are putting your time and efforts at a great risk in the vague hope that someone might buy it. What if no one wants to buy it or buys at a very low price? It's a big waste. Again, quality of content is a purely subjective and opinion-based issue. You might think that your content is good but the buyer may not necessarily think so. So, the safer and better approach is to invest your time and effort into creating new and original content as per the buyers' requirements. The best way to use the articles, if you ask me, would be to build a website or blog that revolves them. Alternately, you can use the best among the lot as samples of your work to build your portfolio and showcase it to potential clients. Articles submission is as good as dead now but you can submit some of the articles to high PR article submission directories which can result in some good traffic and backlinking. There are many ways you can use the articles; these are just a few. My 2c. Hope it helps.
Sorry, the word around should be there after the word 'revolves' in the above sentence. The correct sentence is -
That's what I was thinking, it is impossible to sell prewritten articles for any reasonable price. Maybe building separate sites for each niche and monetizing them somehow would be best. To sell links, put affiliate offers or adsense on them. But all of this would take a lot of work and effort. As for not knowing if the articles are unique or not...when copyscape doesn't find anything and neither does copy pasting pieces of the articles into Google, are there other ways to check?
As I said, the ONLY reliable way is to write the articles yourself. However, you can use multiple plag checkers. Maybe, what one won't catch will be caught by the other. I've found in some cases that duplication that escapes Copyscape Premium is detected by some free plag checkers. I've compiled a list of some here – https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...st-of-free-alternatives-to-copyscape.2700629/. However, be aware that these free tools come with severe limitations. Hope this helps.
In my opinion, if it's possible, you can re-built them into ebooks, guides, white papers. Make facebook/linkedin/pinterest/g+ posts for your group (if you have one) or make it for some one. Rewrite them to guest blog and sell it for bloggers.
I would use these articles to create Kindle eBooks. A great way to get traffic is to create a capture page, make your book free for the first 5 days and gather a ton of traffic and leads with a link to your capture page in your eBook. This is a great way to get free traffic and build a list in any niche.
There is no free lunch. But you can turn this coal into diamond with your own manual effort. You might not get the expected profit if you try to find a buyer, but if you patiently build a website and harness the content, it may turn into gold. But it will require time and effort, as you just cannot expect it to earn revenue from day one. Easiest option is to buy a seo and user friendly wordpress theme from themeforest, find a decent low cost shared hosting, upload the content, install yoast seo plugin and make sure all on-page seo is done, do little off-page seo on a monthly basis and then wait patiently. If the content is good, then it will definitely bring results.
