Let me know your impression of this music forum, please

I'm very interested in your initial impression of my music forums.

Given that your have any interest in (at least some of) the musical subjects, please tell me what you think about it. Here are some of the things of great interest to me - but anything you have to say will be appreciated:
• Is it appealing? - both visually and topically
• easy to navigate and read?
• Does it get you interested in exploring further and possibly return? (again, given that the mains subjects are of interest to you)
• Does it feel speedy enough? (it was just moved to a new server yesterday to improve speed which had been lagging for a while)

Any comments and critique is much welcomed

It was extremely slow to load for me. Looks good, though, once loaded.

It's a little starnge. On the old server it ran consistently slow, but on the new it generally runs fast but with sudden "peaks" where the load times become unacceptably slow. I've just written to the web host and is getting them to look into it.

 

It seemed to load okay once it started loading, but it took it a very long time to begin. Perhaps there is a very high number of hops from here to your server. In any case, good luck.

 

Just got mail back from the hosting company. It seems they have been doing some work on the server for the last couple of hours, but everything should be back to normal soon.

 

.... and everythings is running at full speed again now!... (phew, for a moment this afternoon I was worried that the whole server switch had been in vain)

 

Great Site. I have a very fast connection. There was a slight hesitation with the sheet music picture loading at the top, but it was minimal. I really like the colors used on the site, and the picture of the sheet music is very appropriate. Very nice.

 

I like the picture on the top of the website. It suits well with the color in general

 

The site loaded quite fast for me. I was quite suprised by the quality of the forum skin as well, its very good. Easy to navigate and its easy on the eyes to read as well.

 

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like the forum skin. A lot of work has been put into it. I'm also glad the the forum's up to speed again - from your comments it seems that the speed is acceptable.

the loading time for me was good... not slow
the topics were good too.. most probably visitors will revisit
but I think the template of the forum should be changed....

vvenomouss, by "template" do you mean the forum software (which is currently ubb.threads - but planning a possible switch to vBulletin) or the "skin" (look)?
