I used to average around 800 uv daily but now am just getting about 600 uv daily. This is despite the fact that I am still as hard as before.

Am I the only one noticing this?

That happens to many sites, sometimes you get boost in rankings and traffic sometimes it lowers due to Google Dance...

You can try a bit of promotion once again. I will revamp my site too because it lacks traffic unlike before. Speaking of Google, they say they are not even updating the page ranks yet.

Perhaps there are less people searching the keywords? Or simply your ranking dropped?

This can be due to the below reason
    1. your keyword drop on SERP
    2. Less people search on the keyword

Google had indexing problems recently. Keep working and hopefully their index will recover.

Your fluctuate ratio is not that high. If your traffics were 800 then dropped to 100 then you should worry. However, it would better if you check for your long rail keywords / inner page ranking instead of just your main targeted keyword at homepage. You might find more clue about the dropped traffics.
