Short and sweet. You have to pull them in and sell them fast, because they're not going to stick around. As with all types of marketing it's an art.

3minutes is the maximum length for a video and must be direct to the point.

If streaming online, it is better to limit only within 30 to 60 seconds.

I think 3 minutes is good to get your audiences attention. Not too short or too long..

I think 3 minutes is the best. Not too short or too long. you can have enough time to explain what you want to show.

One minute is too long if you start to bore me. Short is good, absolutely no waffle or talking heads is even better.

Think about it. With attention spans being what they are, and the internet having so many new and exciting things to see I'd say anything over 1:00 to 1:30 and you're losing more potential visitors or whatever than you're keeping. Just my two cents.

Remember, you only get credited for views if the visitor goes trough the whole video... So the shorter the better...

The most important moment are the first 5 to 15 seconds (which are where you need to capture your customers attention), after that just go to the point while keeping it between 2 to 5 minutes.

If you can make interesting videos, you can take it long. But less than 7 minutes is the best choice in my opinion.

I stay between 1 and 3 minutes. Most people won't watch anything over 3-5 minutes unless it comes from a trusted, well-known source. Time is of the essence so get right to the point and keep it short.

Depending on the content and type of video. If your doing a review of something, maybe 5 - 10 minutes. One of my recent reviews was 11 minutes long. A documentary I put together about a hurricane was 45 minutes long.

Make the video long enough to convey your point - no more, and no less.

I agree with Kev, it depends on how good or interesting your topic is, Visitors watch clips up to 10 min, if the context of the clip can keep their attention. But it really shouldnt go much longer than that.

If you only want to promote one little thing then be short but precise and keep it under 2 minutes.

The video should be short and to the point if you are trying to grab their attention, make it under 3 minutes

However long/short you need to tell the message you need to tell :) - otherwise, I would agree about 1-3 minutes.
