How many letter is to much?

Lets say I have some relevant key words (that I found from DP's key word suggestion tool). Example: my site is about dancing/clubs, whatever, and the domain name is; danceentertainment.com (note; this is hypothetical, not exact words, however the format is 2 semi-long key words)

would danceentertainment.com be better than ydance.com or idancer.com or nudances.com etc... The latter examples are hsorter, but they have pointless beginnings (i, y, nu).

The best of both worlds would be dance.com or entertainment. com, but unfortunately I am a bit late to snatch those up.

A second, related quetsion is this: If i use DP's key word suggestion tool http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/ and find two very high keywords (both related to my niche) does it matter how long the domain name is?

If word butterfly get 15k searches a day, and pesticides gets 11k searches a day, would butterflypesticides.org be a good choice, if my site is about killing those innocent little butterflys? or would a less related, shorter name work better flykiller.net, etc...

Thanks for the help. I am in the process of picking out a name for a niche, and don't want to screw up.

P.S why does everyone hate 1 and 1 domain, besides lack of support?

My question to you is which domain name is easier to remember and more relevant.

    don't ppl bookmark pages though?
Or do ppl really surf, and not bookmark?

I personally don't remember anything, so to me the website names don't matter much. So do you guys think it is easier to remember a few random letters+keyword, or Keyword+keyword(s) ?

    Thanks.

I would reg all of them If I could aford it

Well, I do bookmark some, search on some. I guess search engines tend to use the keywords in the domain name so relevance can be important in that case.

Of course, with the hundreds of millions people who surf the web regularly, it is difficult to generalize what people think or do.

Personally, I go for domain names which sounds relevant to the topic rather than meaningless characters joint together. But then again, I guess it is just me.
