Lemmy Kilmeister, dead at 70

    Lemmy remains one of my alltime favorites, and the news of his passing hits me kind-of hard. Right now I'm blasting "one more ****ing time" at max volume, to hell with what the neighbors thing.

    When all the little special snowflakes in my class were listening to spandex wearing pansies like Def Leppard, Van Halen, Stryper and Whitesnake, I was listening to Motorhead, AC/DC and Metallica (before the one with talent died and they were replaced by alien pods). Hell, I had the Hawkwind albums from before they kicked Lemmy out.

    Lemmy had been ill for some time, two days ago got a cancer diagnosis and passed away today. 70 is a good run though given the relatively hard life of self-abuse he put himself through.
