legit online data entry..

Do these things even exist. I'm a good typer, averaging over 100 wpm and i've been searching for awhile to find a legit program for data entry so I can burn off all the extra time I do have and to earn some extra money.

Browsing forums such as DP and sitepoint have pointed out that competition is really high in every area of life I have a skill in, whether its graphic design, data entry and etc. Because of this i've had a hard time even placing a bid for a job out of fear of not winning(i've had alot of those cases happen in the past).

    Any help would be appreciated..

Have you considered forum posting/article writing? The pay is low, especially with the huge amounts of people doing it, but earning a bit of cash is a whole lot better than wasting your time on playing some game/doing other unproductive stuff. :)

    hi,
i also work for some companies, before that i heard about LIGIT DATA ENTRY jobs avaliable easily online, i tried to search a lot about those. but 99.99% are spam, and the rest 00.01% i am unable to reseach. Why dont your try out some freelance networks getafreelancer.com or guru.com? if you can give your location, i may suggest you some more options, like if you are in UK, you can personally visit to HOSPITALS and ask for some work, as i know there are several people converting HARD COPIES to PDF. there are lot more things to work on.

Try your local library too. I know some places could use a data entry person to add new books to their listing. Also, just keep an eye out on the forum. Jobs will come. But please, don't go below the minimum wage. That just hurts all of us.

You could also try and get into data/article submission. That's effectively data entry.

Well if you have time in your hands then start a small blog about something you love and wait 90 days till reviewme.com and similar sites accept your blog and then BAM! You are in the game.

Quality Blog: yes, this is also a good approac to earn $$$. But if you can concentrate on POSTING ARTICLES, URL SUBMISSION, BOOKMARKING and FOURM POSTERs, you can add more $$$ in your account.
    best of luck

Yes, I'd recommend a blog too. It's easy to make money with pay per post, and sponsored posts. You can sell links too after you get a PR :)
    All the best :D
