I'm looking for an appraisal of my website as I plan to put it up on the block soon and need an idea of the value. Basically it's an adult internet model promotion site (NSFW) that been more of a hobby then a business to me so I've never really taken the time to monetize it properly or even market it (never done any advertising at all... all the growth has been word of mouth basically). I'm pretty sure it could be a money maker in the right hands but those hands aren't mind as I have neither the knowledge nor the time to make it happen. Either way, here's some stats that might help... Domain name: leghumper.com Domain age: 4 years, 9 months (June 2002) Google PageRank: 3 Alexa rating: 83,816 Average monthly visitors (last three months): 48,251 (58% new, 42% returning) Average monthly pageviews (last three months): 403,484 Backlinks: Google: 5 Yahoo: 1,769 MSN: 0 AltaVista: 326 AllTheWeb: 114 Indexed pages: Google: 42,600 Yahoo: 1 MSN: 170 AltaVista: 1 AllTheWeb: 0 The site is mainly a vBulletin forum (owned license) with a fully customized and skinned site built around it using vBAdvanced. The site has just over 15,000 members and 266,000+ posts. The main site has a photo gallery (with years worth of original pictures of "LH Vixens" in Leghumper clothing), a links and downloads section, a MySpace page with over 8,000 friends, a fully customized Cafepress store, and much more. All that said, any thoughts on what a site like this might be worth out there? I'm looking to sell off the whole thing... domain, web site, content, etc. Thanks in advance! The Big Dog
Thanks for the info. I was told to expect around $30,000 by a friend in the business but I thought that seemed a little high. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
