LegendaryPosting is a scamming little ~!$@#%

he contracted me to design the sub-page designs for his website (www.premiumbeaches.com) and then once i had spent a good deal of time and effort coming up with a design for the layout and delivered as i said i would, he failed to pay me for my services. so as i check his website today... my design is currently in use. is there anything that i can do about this? surly i could take the legal route but aside from that, is there anything that i can do? legal route might let him know that i am serious about my work and i don't hold people like him in the highest regard. i have lost all respect for this member. it has been a week now and i have yet to be payed. figured maybe it was a money issue or something at first but once he started ignoring my private messages and then today when i saw my design in use on his website, i went over the edge and had to let you all in on his little scamming ways. this really upsets me and for anyone seeking to do further business with him, i would advise against it.

I'm going to retract this thread in the hopes that i might get payed today. he posted his telephone number in another thread and i called him and talked to him about it. so we will see. hopefully everything goes well and i apologize for this thread if i do receive payment here shortly. will keep you updated.

 

I always thought doing business like that is kind of risky... and you never believe it until you suffer I was scamed once and swear never to risk my work.

 

I thought it had been a few days since I saw the last scammer thread - was beginning to think something was amiss!

 

yeah well i apologize for this thread. he payed just after it being a week since i did it for him and not hearing back from him or anything and then seeing my work on his site kind of got me a little pissed so i felt that i should say something. but overall he came through so my bad i guess. though i feel as if i hadn't gotten upset and dug into his other posts to warn others i would have never discovered his telephone number to get in contact with him. so in the end, it worked out, i got payed, and everyone is happy. atleast for now. cheers.

 

In that case I suggest you ask for this thread to be locked (use the button). No point bashing him for no reason.
