Legality of hosting blogs

    Hey guys,
New here. I see a lot of people with blogs covering movies/porn/etc (oneddl.com, etc). How are these sites legal? Or are they not and the owners or just crossing their fingers? Or are they hosted from a country where infringement laws don't apply? Fail to see how people host such things, or have direct-download accounts that spam host files on comments sections.
Can anyone explain this to me?
    Thanks

Some of these websites are hosted in countries have a more relaxed copyright laws. Perfect example of this is the the whole controversy with The Pirate Bay and how they were able to get away with it for so long was due to the location of the website's servers.

They will get away with it until they get big in my opinion. Companies don't have the resources to fight against small blogs and small piracy unless it is worth their time and money.
