i got this email from filefront today:

Some or all of the file(s) you uploaded to FileFront has been deleted.

The file(s) contained illegal content or were copyrighted and distributed without the
permission of the owner(s). Owners may pursue action against you for the illegal distribution of their creation. Law enforcement agencies will be pursing distributors of illegal
    content.

The file(s) were uploaded in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. Our policy states you as the uploader are responsible for your actions and will
defend FileFront and anyone associated with FileFront against all claims made.

FileFront has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY and FileFront will vehemently record and forward any and all
information to help law enforcement agencies investigate and prosecute those who willingly upload and/or download these files to/from our site.

    Additionally, FileFront reserves to
right to ban you from use of the file storage system or take any other action it deems necessary.

FileFront's free file storage was conceived and offered solely for gamers to store
LEGAL gaming files and information for their use and for distribution, if desired.

    Code (markup):
Now, the problem is, I've had this account for 6 months.... I only uploaded about 1-2 files, which were legal, just my own software and all.

Apparently, someone must have logged into my account since then and uploaded illegal files. They must've keylogged me b/c someone's been accessing other accounts I have. I just got a keylogger remover anyway..

So now I replied saying I never knew this was happening.

Is that a good reply? How can I explain I never did it? Ideas please... I'm not gonna get myself in trouble for not doing anything

    Thanks

Hmm. Okay first off I'm not a lawyer.

I would have replied and stated exactly what you stated here. Were those two files still there after they deleted the illegal content?

Nope weren't there.. I had deleted them after I went to the other computer...

But I did go back now and there were all those files and they blame it on my IP.. I mean, how can I have done it.. if there's no proof? Those files aren't even on my own computer...

Can someone help me please? They think I did it.. I certainly wouldn't upload huge illegal files...

I need to explain that I visit DP, NP, FWS Forums, and that's about it.

    Thanks

That is odd. They traced your personal IP to doing this?
