    Is it illegal to run a xxx forum in usa? If so can I run the xxx forum on a offshore hosting, and if its offshore hosting Could someone please tell me which offshare webhoting is good thanks

    You can not host adult websites on U.S. hosting you have to get off shore hosting that allows adult sites!

    I think what he is asking about is the type of forum where people post up rapidshare links and stuff of copyrighted content.

    Many webhosts in the USA will allow what is classed as legal adult material.The real problem with adult material is it uses alot of resources on the server with so many people trying to access adult sites.If its a going to be a popular site then most webhosts would recomend you have your own dedicated server that way you don,t slow everybody elses site down if you were on a shared enviroment.Also with the law side of thing if you were to have any pictures etc videos of adult material then you must make sure it fits the 2257 law.

    There is many providers that don't want to host this content by there own standards but in no way is it illegal, It would become illegal if you were linking to copyright content and such.
