Legal Issues: Flyers

Hi

I wanted to know is there any legal issues with sticking Flyers around the area like on lamp post ect is it illegal to do this? Im in the UK so would be good with some info on that.

Bylaws state whether it is illegal or not. In my town - Illegal.

I've done it a few years ago to promote a local dating community, and while it wasn't illegal (at the time..not sure about now), the traffic it brought it almost wasn't worth it.

 

I don't read flyers in town - most of them advertise

'Earn Extra £xxx/month just 1 hr work a day work keep your current job'

Apart from the flyers being put up illegally, these scams are also illegal.
