Legal Implication on Using Free Templates

If for example, a person builds a wordpress blog, downloads a free WP theme, adds his content and modifies the site to suit the visual aspects of his blog.
On the terms of service of the free theme, it says that the template is provided free but you cannot resell it.
Then after a few months he wanted to sell the site, is there any legal implications on this? Does reselling his blog/website later on constitutes as "reselling" the free theme he has used on the onset of his project?
    Cheers.

Reselling templates mean that you are not allowed to post on your site that you are not making available the zip file your got from the designer and that you will not resell the template to others.

If you are selling the site with its template, there is nothing to worry about as it is part of the same and abide the designer's terms.
