I think “cheap” maybe the wrong word.

I think “inexpensive” is more what you are seeking... You do want to make conversions right? :D

Granted email is a numbers game and there are so many different variables involved, …always take quality over quantity!

    Hello,
Not sure if this is something that you are very knowledge in or not, so i don't want to try to step on your toes or anything.

But buying mailing list is really not a good idea, because 9 times out 10 you are buying list that are either Old, People That no longer have those email, or list that have nothing to do with your market.

So if you use that list and you send stuff out to them you usually won't get a response or if you do it wont be one your looking for. What you shoudl really do it try to figure out your market and then offer prizes or information for people to opt into your own list, that way you know that your list is targeted to your market. If you get 100 people that are intersted in your market as compared to 1000 people from everywhere, your conversion will more than likely be better with those 100.

Don't buy these cheap email list because they are all saturated. This is the reason why they are selling it in the first place.

Yeah, but i don`t need target traffic, I promote MP3s/videos search engine. So there is prefered cheap bulk traffic.

General question: how much should cost 100.000 or 1000.000 e-mails base?
And what if seller are telling base is fully legal, but hi is lie? Can I have really troubles? Interpol..etc?

Death, to be honest, even though you are promoting MP3/ and video search engines, if people have not signed up for your mailing list then, when they see your EMAIL in their mailbox...

9 out 10 times they will delete it. I am just trying to help you bro, I would try to get a landing page or a opt in page on a site to have people sign up for it. You will see much better results then trying to buy out dated list.

Just a thouht...Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I would also look into sponsoring another sites mailing list. A lot of popular sites have huge lists and allow you to advertise on there emails that they send out. This might be a better options since the user will be getting this email from a trusted source and more likely to open and read it. Also look into advertising on people MySpace bulletins.

Cheap business mailing lists are not what people should be using in their marketing efforts, online or not.
    • You have to be asking the basic questions to yourself before doing so.
    • Why are they CHEAP?
    • What makes them so invaluable if they have the potential to make you money?
    • Why would anyone be giving these away for so Cheap price?

If you are looking for potential lists then they will be costing you a higher value. Cheap and free mailing lists is not a solution.

    Regards

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year

You're better off by paying for a sponsored link on a popular ezine. It should convert better than lots of spammy ads with no content attached whatsoever.
