Legal advice needed

    Hello DP Members,

    I had bought a script of 100$ from an Indian guy.I paid him by bank transfer.And I had told him that I will buy script rights for 150$.But script was not working as my requirements were and It stopped working after some days.Also We signed agreement between us.it was signed on piece of paper with both signatures on it without legally.So now he is telling me to pay 150$ for script and script i have is not working and as script is not working according to my requriements so how can him.Now he is giving me threat that he will sue me or file FIR against me? I also live in India

    Am i in trouble or safe?

    Anyones opinion will be appreciated.

    As long as the script is technically broken, you are more than safe.

    First: If the script is really not working and you can proof that to non IT Educated people then you are safe. If you or that person is minor (under 18) then the agreement is void that is it will not be valid. And if that guy is threatening you to lodge FIR for $50 and that too for an incomplete script, I guess he is not a mature person.
