I offer a service to this guy for $12. After 4 weeks, he said he was not happy with the service, and he wants his $12 back, he said if you don't refund me, he will bring legal action against. Can he do that?

Btw this is the first time any one has asked for a refund for my service, but because he use threats, I said no to him. I would of refund him if he would not use threats.

You should really provide more information. What you have given is sketchy at best.

What was the service?, what were the terms? Why exactly did he want a refund? Why was he not happy? What did you do or not do?

My serives was a opt-in email services. He wants a refund because he was not aware, that the people that were on the list are the people that have sign-up for the services. That is the reason he was not happy, he didn't know the members on the list all sign-ed-up for it. The terms are you can use the service for one year, plus other opt-in service for life. There is no mention that there will be refunds.

It would cost him $75+ to have a lawyer write you a nasty letter; which you can safely ignore. (assuming you are in the USA).

I am in the USA, thats what I was think too, just to go to small claim court, he has to spend $50 , and spend few hours, just to go to court, but It will be very intersting and funny if he does do that.

Unless you specified no refunds, I would just give him his $12 back. In the UK, they could probably get you for not offering a refund as you didn't specify they weren't availible.

The bonus list I gived him was worth $20.Plus he lied and he used threats. I hate when people threated me, So I rather not refund him.

Then keep evidence of the threats he made. If he's going to take you to court, remind him you have them.
