Left parties were supporting indian government for last 4 and 1/2 years.
But today they said divorce to Congres for nuclear deal.
Is it good or not for them for coming elections ?
    :p ;) :D

Very interesting development. Now, finally, the Leftists will form a third front. A Third Front is necessary. Though the Leftists will lose the elections, but atleast it is a good start.

The Indo-US Nuclear Deal will not move forward, coz there will soon be a new US Administration, and it is very unlikely it would by McCain. So, the Indo-US Nuke deal would be put on a back-burner, and we would have to focus on other pressing issues, like the coming Energy Crisis.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) based in France would publish its report in February 2009, and thats when the real worry begins once people look at the numbers. Conventional Nuclear Energy is expensive to produce, and any new Nuclear Plant would require atleast 5 years to come online. Coupled with that, there is a dire shortage of Uranium for Fuel.

If India waits for a while, our scientists will perfect the Fast Breeder Reactor Tech, which uses Thorium as fuel instead of Uranium. BARC has been working on this for many decades now. And everyone knows, we have one of the largest Thorium reserves in the world. So, there is no need to hurry.

Well it will not effect on Indian goverment since SP provide their support so Goverment will be safe. I think we might see early election and it would be good for India since UPA is nothing doing well for India so we need new goverment without Left parties.
