Didn't even know this until today. LeBron James is following me on Twitter. I am sure he didn't personally push the button... but still.
I guess you're becoming a celebrity on social media. At first, it was MacD. I remember that thread - https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/nothing-fancy-but-still.2739926/. Now it's LeBron James. Looks like I should also start following you now.
Not to hijack this thread, but do you see any business coming from your Twitter account, especially given that you are being followed by some big names?
I do. However, since the traffic is not targeted, it takes a lot of tweets and other efforts (flushing inactive and adding new followers) that some may say it's a lot of work with little results. In February, for instance, I had 1.39M impressions for my tweets, 13.6K visits to my profile and 545 mentions (according to my Twitter analytics). It speaks for itself. But still, it takes a lot of work to get there.
Whenever you get to use the "M" for million, it is impressive to me, anyway. But I have real doubts that Twitter would useful to my B2B ventures. I am on the Board of Advisors of a B2C company that is targeting high school students and they have a lot of success with Twitter marketing campaigns. They buy tweets from people with large numbers of high school student followers and they convert well.
