Because other country are using it to solve there problem and test there forces .

Syrian and Iran are giving power to Hezbollah to test the power against israel .

and USA and ISRAEL are testing the power of Iran .

and off course the Lebanese civilian have to pay the price .

Now 90%+ of Lebanese are armed with guns , machine guns , rockets if a civil war will occur , a lot of damage will happen ... because Lebanese have nothing to loose , most of them are poor , no money , no education no jobs no nothing , high TAX .

Hold on a minute. These were educated people. Why are you blaming an exploitation of the poor and uneducated?

The students are only the flame of the fire .

What i'm saying is more like what pingpong said that even if "some" have what they call an education still they dont have any job .

Like 95% of my friends all of them have a bachelor and what they are doing now is live in there parent house , working in a store or in a restaurant or anything that is not related to there study .

    they work 12 hr/day 5/7 to get paid : maximum 300-500$

They dont have any objective in life because they cant afford it , even if some are very intelligent but they dont know how to use it .

Little example , i made my college in Beirut and i wasn't one of the best student in my class a lot were better than me when we graduated since i had Canadian citizenship i traveled to Canada and got paid all education and nearly everything while my Friend who were better than me in college did nothing and didnt continue studying now they are still doing nothing while I'm completing my high study education .

The point is that they didnt have a chance to do what they were willing to do and they loose hope in life which will make them exploitable by other .

So, let's see. Is someone else supposed to rise up and fix it? Or are they going to change their lives by joining in the appropreate civil organization?

You know, like americans that volunteer for the army to protect their country rather then sitting on their asses waiting for someone else to do it and placing balme?

If a Foreign army enter the country yes they will join organization to defend the country .

And i dont see any solution coming up , Hizbullah is to strong to be disarmed by lebanese (There army is strongest than lebanese army , they have more weapon , more advanced training , more experience on the field) only syria or iran can disarm them and this will only happen if USA make negotiation with Iran and Syria .

Its a Big mess now in lebanon ... Good Luck for the people living there

If the people of lebanon are not the ones wanting war, then why are students starting it? It sounds to me like the people have chosen sides, and therefore no one is going to get what they want...this doesn't seem to have anything to do with the USA or Israel. It just goes to show that different types of arab people can't live with one another. JMO though.

That is the crux of the problem. They have given up and expect it to be fixed by others.

That will NOT bring the desired result.

Unless the civilian people of Lebonon step up and prove they outnumber Hizbullah, they are certain to surcumb to them or someone else.

This is one of the problem ... The Country is cut in half .

nearly 50% supporting Hezbollah + General Aoun + Amal (Shiite member) + Some Sunnite and the other 50% is supporting the current government they are Rafic Hariri + Lebanese Forces ...

Taiff agreement said all private militias must disarm. All have disarmed but HESBOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont care what other complexities are involved, the point is HESBOLLA didnt disarm. I agree all like the lebanese forces, amal, the druze and all others have thugs in their groups but the fact is they all disarmed and everyone was ready for peace but hisbolla. Aoun is now officially either a greedy ###astard or someone who has mentall lost his mind. The point is Hisbolla didnt disarm. If they had disarmed there would be peace in lebanon.

After hariris assasination, hesbolla and syria conducted a huge protest in support of the syrian OOCUPATIONAL FORCES. HISBOLLA FOUGHT AGAINST ISREAL THAT OCCUPIED A TINY PEACE OF LAND IN THE SOUTH AND SUPPORTED THE SYRIAN OCCUPATION THROUGHOUT LEBANON.
This is what i call hypocrisy at its finest. At least everyone knew where hisbolla would go with this but Aoun is a traitor of the highest degree and should be booted out of lebanon IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These 2 dont want peace. Anyone that thinks the saniora government is pro american or pro isreali is in dream land. The Saniora government is for pro peace. They just are sick and tired of outside forces making trouble in lebanon. Saniora wants no enemies outside of lebanon.

Hisbolla is pro iranian, end of story. They could care less if there is peace in lebanon

Actually the true fighting started when aouns forces had bloackades keeping people from getting to work on time. This is rediculous. I have been watching aoun talk the last week and it seems like he is stuttering as if hes on some mind altering lsd

Nopid, there is no wat in heck that the lebanese people can fight against Iran, syria , syrias proxy army(bathists) and irans proxy army hesbolla and their 90,000 advanced iranian missiles. It would be complete destruction. Its like being a witness in dealey plaza during jfk's assasination. 90% of witnesses there died within 3 years(trillion to one chance according to an english odds counter). People learn to shut their mouths eventually cause they realize they are up against something to big to handle

Lebanon is aroud 50% Christian...and are generally looked upon as the "snooty" people of the middle east. They even speak Arabic with an accent (according to other Arabic speaking countries). Lebanese people are too nice and that is why there are soo many crazy people moving in and claiming the place as their own to conduct dangerous activities.

But, the North of Lebanon is a different story...nice place, awesome mountains, and majority are Maronites who were chased their by Syrians and Muslim Crusaders. Leb's can't all be bad...Look at Tony Shaloub! :) or Tony Rocks :)
