Leaving Name.com

I have been a loyal customer to Name.com for many years, however I have been waiting days for a response to an issue, I am going to change registrars...

I would like to know who you think is the best registrar to use.

I have 50+ domains and would like opinions that are not going to "Break The Bank" to transfer.

    Thanks.

The best registrar is the one who meets one's needs best. Only catch is there's a lot of them out there, heh.

Anywho, you can look into Dynadot, Moniker, or NameSilo. Or one in your own backyard: Rebel.com.

    Good hunting.

I'm a big fan of Moniker. They have always been good with customer service and helped me out a while back in a fraud situation in a site sale where the domain was the prize, got paid my $8.5K cause of Monikers help.

    NameCheap is also very good.

I'm personally not a fan of Name.com either, simply because of the domain management UI. I would recommend Namecheap.com.

Question not directly related to the topic.

When you register a domain at name.com, what kind of information does name.com provide about the person who registered the domain using whois? Does it provide such info as name/street/country and so on?

As far as domain management UI goes...

Internet.bs is excellent. Price-wise it's pretty good as well.

they were much better price-wise couple of years ago. now with their price approaching almost $10/.com I am not excited. Net's are still cheap with them.
