has anyone ever leased out one of your websites?

I have not done this myself. But I can see some really bad things happening from this. Someone could get your domain banned from google and other search engines or do much worse.

the situation we have is that just the contact info on the website (or what we want), we would still do the seo etc and guarantee a front page listing. If it drops off the front page the lease expires or the lease rate drops

Leasing websites doesn't seems to be a good idea !
You will work hard on the website and then the owner will throw you out enjoying all hard work

i think maybe i didn't explain my intentions correctly. As a "lease" I really mean a site sponsor. Where you own the site and basically have just 1 large site sponsor, instead of finding 10 people to buy ads you just have 1 person.
