Learning Vb

Hello Dp members

I would like to learn Visual Basic coding as i have already learnt php/html/css (web programming) and would like to move on to application development aswell.

I have visual studio 2008 on my laptop but have no idea on how it works im able to create a basic application that has buttons on it that do nothing since i dont know how to code in vb.

If someone could direct me to a good tutorial website that has source code and step by step that i can learn from i would be greatful

Iv tried google search but havent really found anything what i can learn from.

If you have got a programming knowledge its not difficult to learn vb.net. This is a good book : Murach's Beginning Visual Basic .NET.

 

Search on google for "asp.net forums" and you will get what you are looking for.

 

I used to code in c# and use Firebird as Database engine and finance application as my main field. Are there anyone give me a freelance job ? I need some money.
