Next year i hope to run some investments in the stock market, i have been told the alternative investment market (AIM) is the best as it yields higher returns but with bigger risk.... does anyone have any advice? or recommend any sites or books that i could read? Regards Nick
Take it from someone who's been there: The stock market is nothing more than a CASINO. Especially nowadays; it's the wild wild west out there. Unless you have inside information, you'll lose your shirt (and maybe your pants, too!). If you need to prove this to yourself, go right ahead. But don't say that you haven't been warned.
I don't agree. I trade the fx market on a small scale successfully so it can be done. I would say the most important attribute is that you need to be patient. Also you must be prepared mentally as trading can seem like a mind game at times. I would recommend "Trading In The Zone" by Mark Douglas for trading psychology. All the best!
