learning Rss & Xhtml... will it be useful..

    I cam across learning rss. Will it be really useful. I just wanted to know whether it will be useful for building websites. What about XHTML?

    If you want to consume or generate RSS then learning about it will help, if you arent wanting to do either with your sites then it wont be. Whilst we get asked to generate RSS for a few of our clients sites I have to say I cant think of a single case where a client has asked us to include RSS from another site in their own.

    xHTML - personal choice really, personally find it more intuitive but then lots of people cant get on with having to close all tags etc

    just for websites learn plain old html and css, xhtml is not necessary .. yet

    Even though i know html. I am keen on learning xhtml. I will also learn rss now. Thanks for your replies.
