    1. php editor, Notepad++, Dreamweaver
    2. XAMPP or WAMP for local server

    W3schools is best site for learning Basics of PHP.

    If you have learn about PHP then firstly you should learn about basics of php with the help of w3c school websit in which you can learn about php very easy for that no any software is required you must have only pdf file or ms-office word file.
