Hello! i want to learn webmaster and its terminolgy towards site. i am new in SEO field , i want to advance my carrer in it. I only have blog in blogger else i do not have any website or other admin authentication. But when i use webmaster , it says either paste code to ur site or upload it. but i do not have any site except blog. is it necessary to undersatnd its tools and features by having an website. can it be experimented on blog also if then how. And WHAT WEBMASTER DO?
Hi praveen1, If your blog runs on a CMS that allows you to edit your header file, you can include the webmaster tools verfication code and use WMT (Webmaster tools). Webmaster tools gives you information about your website, ie: site-health, site traffic, configuration etc. You can for example, submit a sitemap, control sitelinks, check for any site issues. WMT is very useful for webmasters to check whether the website is ok, or if there are any issues (ie. malware detection, robots.txt blocking, extremely high number of URL's). Hope this is helpful!
Frst you need tod o parveen is create a website... the nxt thng you have to do is paste the coding of webmaster tool in your website root directory... blog will give u nothing unless you have a website of your own... webmaster is a tool that shws a accurate traffic graph on ur website.. To rank your website on google first page and to get high pr(page rank)create backlinks.. generate the organic traffic via forum posting,directory submision,blog commenting,socail bookmark sharing site.. forum posting and directory submission is most imp as it helps in incresing traffic and creating link.. do blog commenting on sites similar to your website niche.. make your content fresh and unique...above all a blooger need patience and consistence in his work..
