Learning Advanced Web Design

Do you know of any good tutorial to learn Web design in design way, not technical one?

What I'm trying to convey is that I know XHTML, CSS, XML (a bit), even Ajax and RoR, but well, you can't learn to paint just by knowing how to make strokes. I need to put design back in Web design. Can you help me, anyone?

It's primarily for photo shop tutorials, but there is also a lot of information concerning web design.

 

try to get your hands on some video tutorials.....lynda.com have pretty good ones

If you want a SOLID book, check out "transcending CSS the fine art of web design" by andy clarke

he has great examples in there which you can recreate and it teaches you processes for structured design

 

The Principles of Beautiful Web Design by Jason Beaird can also help.

I recommend tutorials, I first started learning the program obviously and then developing my skills.
