    Trial and error is the best approach. If you can get your ads to either blend in well with your content, or stand out so much that people are attracted to it, that will also help increase CTR.

    You will likely want to create a lot of pages that are also well optimized for SEO as to get a lot of visitors. I know this information is fairly basic, but when you think about it, the more visitors who see your ads, the more chances you have for people to click them. The more clicks, the more money. Simple, eh?
