I like how they make US (as republicans) seem like the unpatriotic ones here...

The very idea of one party being patriotic and another party being unpatriotic is ludacris.

Is this what US politics has come to?

"I saw courage both in the Vietnam War and in the struggle to stop it. I learned that patriotism includes protest, not just military service."
John F. Kerry, the man who "protested" by accusing our soldiers of murdering and raping at the generals orders. (as if that would help win over the natives to win the war, no general would do that, and it's blatant treason)

"I think there has been an exaggeration of the terrorist threat." - John F. Kerry

I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.
    John F. Kerry

We were sent to Vietnam to kill Communism. But we found instead that we were killing women and children.
[a constant theme of his is that americans, particularly soldiers, are raping murderers]
    John F. Kerry

"They [Our American Troops Kerry is Accusing] told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, tape wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the country side of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country." - John Kerry Senate Testimony, lying before the Senate, giving aid and comfort to the enemy, a little thing called "treason", with skillfull propaganda worthy of Goebbels.

Keep in mind John Kerry accused our soldiers of war crimes, saying the GENERALS commanded it. (as if that's good war policy?) Kerry says the US troops are as bad as Genghis Khan. Keep in mind Kerry met with the Vietcong in Paris DURING the war, also a treasonous act.

If that's not unpatriotic... I don't know what is.

This is patriotic. Citizens should protest against the policies of politicians that they disagree with.

If the Bush clan does something that you disagree with then you should protest. This is patriotic.

This is true. Nothing to do with patrioism.
This is nothing to do with patriosim too. If bush observed international law the the Iraq mess would have been avoided.

Please explain in more detail in what way these statements are unpatriotic?

Even if John F Kerry makes unpatriotic statements, it doesnt automatically mean that peeps who vote for the democrats are unpatriotic.

You don't get the context. His "protest" was saying US soldiers are rapists and murders DURING the war with Vietnam. John Kerry singlehandedly made us lose the war. He was the best spokesperson for the Communists. The Goebbels of the Vietcong if you will.[/quote]

First off, to suggest giving control of our troops to the United Nations, is not only unpatriotic but DANGEROUS.

Secondly, do you know what a patriot is? Someone who has pride in his country. As opposed to an internationalist who doesn't care about his country more than the next one.

What about John "our troops are cold-blooded murderers" Murtha?

Or how about Howard "to think we can win in Iraq is just plain wrong" Dean?

And you think there's an exaggeration of the muslim threat? Wow, tell that to 2,000 dead buddhists in Thailand, or the tens of thousands of dead Kashmiris. Or how about the 200,000 dead in Darfur? There is a muslim AGGRESSOR in the 14/21 ongoing world conflicts even counting Iraq as a defensive struggle (15 if you do).

I think you will find that your troops did rape and murder during that war.

He did not mean giving control to the UN. Its just about conforming to international standards. The final decision will always be with the US.

Are you telling me that you are happy about what the Bush clan have sent your troops to do?

You are confusuing nationalism with patriotism.

Not caring about other countries is nothing to be proud of. I guess not many Americans care about the innocent Iraqis that have died.

So if somebody said "to think we can win in Vietnam is plain wrong", are they unpatriotic or are they making an observation of fact?

There are no winners in Iraq. If you invade a country people will shoot back. If you think that killing everyone that shoots back is a victory then you have a twisted view of victory.

The muslim threat was exagerated by the bush clan to get support for their invasion.

Do you not know this? Did you not listen to the words they used?

You poor misled, oppressed masses. :D

If only the conspiracies were right, then Alex Jones would be dead, I wouldn't have to listen to conspiracy whackos all day because they'd be dead, we'd own Iraq's oil, and we would have never spent this $500 billion on rebuilding. Not to mention training an Iraqi army which will only end up siding with the arabs in a future arab-israeli conflict, making us have to fight them all over again.

I guess democratic elections in Iraq, women going to school for the first time, the oil money in Iraq actually being given to the Iraqis and not a despot, must all be a ploy...
