learn SEO ?

This is my first post and really need your help.

I like to learn SEO. If I need to become a certified SEO specialist. Where can I start?
is there any online courses provide by universities.

Please help me.

 

I received a certification from searchenginecollege.com but everything the SEO course teaches can be easily learned yourself.

You can learn SEO online by yourself. Firstly there are very easy prerequisites for learning SEO. As being a FRESHER it’s absolutely fine. Because for SEO you require no extra hardcore skill. These are the few things you require before learning SEO.

you can learn SEO online or you can find a tutor online, to master SEO and excel in your online business apart from learning SEO you got to do lot of practice and also you need have basic knowledge of HTML and should be good in writing (content writing without grammar mistakes) and finally you need to do a lot of hard work and need have lot of patience

 

You can start with leaving blog comments on other blogs in your niche. That is pretty easy to do.

Invest your time online...follow top blog like Moz, Webmaster Central, search engine land, keep continuous involvement in forum. Pick multiple questions from forum find answers here or use google search. Practically implement all those activities.... create win win situation to learn....

Either you can search online for seo, step by step course of different different topic to following so many top blogs...means explore more know more or You can join any training institute...and learn SEO...

 

First of all I would recommend You to read some basic blogs mentioned in the above answers. When You have taken the first steps in making a SEO friendly web-site You can continue to more advanced SEO. And when going to the advanced part, I would tak it step by step.

1) Study good content. Find out how to set up a story on your site, find out the meaning of headers and study your possibilities for call to actions

2) When You are good in writing content, you start to study linkbuilding - there are a lot of different ways to collect links without paying anything but your effort.

3) Then you have to study how you can make your SEO better by reputation management and social media.

There have already been many suggestions so I try to add only these which are not listed yet. I think there are many books about SEO. Try only to read the newest because Google is changing their algorithm constantly.
