I am not new on this forum, my journey with digital point forum is now more than a year, I learn SEO and my teacher are all of you, some gives me good advices and some just copy paste other comments. But still i learn some thing, when i start SEO, i don't even know why i am doing this, digital point gives me some visitors, and i was happy, but than i realize this is not enough, i need more than this. There are still many post related how to increase Page Rank? Why you need PR? What you do if your PR is 7 and you have no visitors? I was among those how want to increase PR i was successful , just in 6 months i got PR 3 but only two keywords are on first page of Google and they also not give me much traffic. Thanks to some good fallows around, i think no keyword is hard to get on first page of Google, Just you have to do be realistic and not try too hard. I have almost 10 sites that are on first page of Google with some good hard keywords, and all i learn is from digital point. Still many of us just join it to get backlink, but believe me its not just a place to get backlink, its a place where you can learn experience of others.
Harry..you right bro..this is an awesome site, but people coming here to just get backlinks are crazy.. because a little more goes into it beside that.. "Black Seo Guy "Signing Off"
when i face any problem first of all i think about dp, i got many helps from the members of dp, really they are helpful. best of luck and congrats to u and dp.
Digital Point was a great help to me in my early years of webmastering. One caution: don't believe everything you read. Like anything else, there is sometimes a mixture of good advice and wrong advice.
As Jim4767 very correctly points out, there is good and bad advice. I got a few PMs asking me about advice that is posted in this forum, What I recommend is before taking anybody's advice check out a few of his comments - if he just parrots what others say, don't bother. If he doesn't explain why he recommends something, then careful, it might be wrong. If he often takes the time to explain (and also has a good rep) then you can trust him (well, usually )
Digital point is the place where I was learn so much, Thanks to digital point , This place where we can share our view etc
SEO is a rocky road of trial and error. Some of the information I have got off here has been good and/or misleading, but most importantly all the information has opened my mind, given me a rounder view of the internet business and inevitably I was able to point myself in the right direction to get the answers I was looking for. DP and other forums has sped up my learning process.
I think I detect a subtle, deliberate sticking in of the needle here, because this is a statement that is vehemently debated on both sides here on Digital Point. Only Google knows for sure. Their official posts seem to validate the position that there is still some value to PageRank with regard to SERPs.
