I'm thinking to learn PHP online where can i get good tutorial to develop my basic skills in PHP and it should be understandable. Need guidance
There are lots of tutorials online and I'd recommend finding one for building a contact form. It will give you lots of the basics and the experience of creating something you can test etc. A word of warning: be realistic about what you want to achieve with your coding and set some goals. The days of building a site from scratch are long gone. Nowadays we use a CMS (content management system such as wordpress, joomla or drupal), a forum (vBulletin, vanilla etc) or a framework (cakephp, symfony etc) and use our PHP skills to implement modifications and write new ones. Not only can we not justify the time spent reinventing the wheel but we can't afford the time researching all the security risks and ensuring that our sites are sufficiently safe. Even when its an "in house" project there's still an opportunity cost when we choose to spend time doing A instead of B. So make a plan (for example) that first up you'll install a CMS and learn to modify the theme/skin. Once you have that you'll learn to install plugins/modifications and tweak them. Finally you might set yourself the challenge of writing a new plugin. If its any good ask another code to "peer review" your work and when its all nicely commented you can submit it to the open source code library of that CMS.
