I'm enrolling in college classes, and, after failing for years in high school trying to learn Spanish, I have to take two years of foreign language. I could take Spanish cuz I already took it for some years, but I don't like Spanish. I am interested in Asian culture, and I read that Filipino/Tagalog is the easiest Asian language to learn, so I was wondering if anyone has any insight on this topic. Is Filipino as easy to learn as Spanish? How would you characterize it?

The language closest to your own should be easily to learn.

if you are still interested I have some materials, I can give them to you. Well I don't know if it's an easy to learn language, I myself speak the language. I have helped one and find it not so easy, or maybe he's not trying enough or lack someone to talk to.. immersion experience factor. If you want to learn it maybe find also a buddy, either those who speak the language near you, workers on shop, a neighbor, friend or find one in internet, like chat or call messaging. It's to try to before you know. Good to hear you have interest by asking. Thanks..
