Guys, I got a feeling that most of you are doing something wrong. I get thousands of hops everyday from you, but only few of you manage to get a conversion.

Despite that my OWN conversion as an affiliate is stable at 1:75.



Here's a simple, step-by-step method for you on how to get a sale via Article marketing. Keep in mind, that you can do the same thing with blogs or web 2.0 sites too.

1. First of all, start everything with choosing the keywords. Go to my product's affiliate page and you will find lots of long-tail keywords there.

Considering that literally all of them are low-competition keywords with decent search volume, simply choose few keywords from the list and let's move on.

2. Now you need to write the articles. It's really easy. You don't need serious knowledge about haircutting to write few paragraphs.

Basically, talk about why it's better to learn how to cut hair at home, rather than learn in college/elsewhere (expensive fees?), whether it's easy or difficult (need instructions), how people can save cash (make money too?), etc. You don't need to write an essay. 250-300 words is perfect.

Make sure to include the keyword in the title and mention it few times in the body of the article (don't keyword stuff). Write one article for each keyword. That means, you choose one keyword and write a whole article targetting that keyword. This way you are maximum focused.

3. Now the resource box. Again, nothing difficult. Don't boil your brain, thinking how you should create a resource box. All you need to do is make your resource box as the ENDING of your article. Try to make it look like as the last paragraph, but obviously in here you will be able to include links as well. Easy. Because we are going to submit articles to EzineArticles, you can only include 2 links. (try to experiment with ways of presenting links, such as plain URL or "click here", etc)

4. Ok, the landing page. This is where people will be sent, after reading your article. If you have hosting, then download my landing page, and customize it as you like.

If you don't have hosting, then simply register with Squidoo or Blogger or other web 2.0 site, and create a review of the product, saying what it's got to offer, how it helped you, and other similar stuff. Those who need a review copy of the guide, please PM me.

5. Finally, everything's ready. Once you found the keywords, pump out some articles, then submit them to EzineArticles (it's the best directory with no doubts) and direct the traffic to your landing page.

This is EXACTLY what I did to get my sales, and I see no reason why you can't do it.

DON'T BUY TRAFFIC (wasting money)
DON'T BID ON BROAD KEYWORDS IN PPC (not targeted traffic - go for longtails)
DON'T OVERPROMOTE THE PRODUCT (this is the sales page's job - all you do is recommend/review, naturally)

So get to work. Hope this was useful.
