Sales are slowly rolling in :) One more sale was made today by an affiliate.

    Advice for affiliates:

The easiest way to promote this product is via article marketing. Look up some long-tail keywords with daily traffic using a keyword tool, such as Google Keyword Tool, then write a few short articles targeting those keywords, submit to Ezine Articles and direct the visitors to your landing page with the product review/recommendation.

    Simple and quick.

ive never competed in a beauty market before, its pretty hard getting traffic with ezine because of so much competition. where as its easier to make money from something else im promoting, however your product i believe in an will write some more articles to see how it does.

Thanks, Alex :) Long time no see.

Beauty market is indeed competitive, but this specific niche is untapped, and very low competitive keywords are perfect proof. So now is a great time to test this niche. You are welcome on board.

    A little update here.

The sales page has been tweaked - added more benefits, warnings, statistics and few other important points.

Thank you everyone who's sending traffic. Remember to check out the affiliate section for landing pages, keywords, and other help.

I Say with Zero Competition, at $30 per sale I am with you on that! I'm making a suggestion right now to a couple of affiliates to start a store and promote it now!

Thanks, Jimz :) You should try to become a vendor too. That's the next step after being an affiliate for a while.

Everybody is congratulating your sales page. What I see today is people take more time on creating their sales pages than they take creating the product.

I encourage all vendors to make a great product as I think you are implying.

But when I make sites as an affiliate, frankly I want a great sales page and a product good enough not to cause too many refunds. The product doesn't need to necessarily be great, from an affiliate's perspective.

3 sales so far, and no refunds.

The sales page is converting, but it definitely needs some tweaking, which I'm currently trying to do :)

    PM sent.

The product has to be great from the "Customer's" perspective.. All an affiliate can do is review it properly and pre-sell it using solid copy ..

There are some great products with crap*y landing pages that are doing amazing..

    Here's one --> http://www.beateczema.com/ -- This product is amazing with PPC ..:)

Anyways I just reviewed Blackman's "Cutting Hair Guide" -- it's worth promoting ..

    Peace

LOL. I wouldn't say my landing page is exactly crappy. However, it is amateurish on purpose.

@ Blackman - keep tweaking to increase conversions. Hopefully you will find the right formula to get conversions low enough to retain affiliates.

Out of interest, who designed your sales page? I like it a lot.

btw there is definitely a market for this. For example:

    - many mothers cut the hair of their young children at home. Even cut the hair of the father.
    - some guys hate getting hair cut and dumb hair stylists giving a different style each time. They prefer to just do it themselves, the same each time and costs them nothing.
