It’s never easy to speak publicly about negative experiences, but we feel a responsibility to share our story in hopes of protecting others. I’m a software developer from Poland, and I run a software company. Nearly two years ago, I signed a contract with Olop Solutions GmbH, a tech recruitment company based in Belfield, Germany, which connects IT professionals with large enterprises. Initially, everything went smoothly. We had a productive working relationship with no major issues. But then, unexpectedly, I received a termination notice with two months' notice. I had fulfilled all obligations, worked full-time, had my hours verified by the client, and even saw proof that Olop Solutions had been paid for my services. After that, communication stopped. Calls, emails, and messages went unanswered. Despite legal involvement and an initial promise from their lawyer to settle the outstanding payment, nothing came of it. The most painful part was the complete disregard after nearly two years of dedicated work. We never expected to be left unpaid and ignored. Please think twice before entering into a partnership with this company.
