Here's several ranking factors that can be used with regards to Google's Search Engine. Some are obvious and common sense, others may be new to you. 1. Age of backlinks matter - the older the better 2. Amount of traffic & percentage of Organic traffic 3. Avoid using numbers in your URL's 4. Lots of slashes (/) in URL's are not ideal 5. CTR, time on site and bounce rate are all ranking factors 6. Host reliability - Search Engines don't want to rank a site that goes down frequently or slow 7. Document age and last update - the older the article the better it can rank and keep it updated frequently. 8. Average Domain position across all queries - this is why it's a great idea to traget easy/low hanging keywords when a site is new and why it seems to work well. 9. Crawl Depth - keep the most important pages closest to the Homepage, no more than 3 clicks away. 10. Orphan Pages - use internal linking to all important pages of your site. Don't worry about pages like contact us, about us, privacy policy, etc. Let me know if you'd like more ranking factors.
I think we should avoid numbers in base URL ... In inner page, if number is with keywords then i dont hing there are any issue ..... Example is your thread URL https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...actors-from-4th-largest-seach-engine.2876608/. Only number can be reason of any issue but number with texts which are related to your niche market or topics then it will not impact site ranking according to me. Sure, share more factors and tips .... we always want to learn few more tips.
11. Total number of search queries your site/url is ranking for. The more content you have the more queries you can rank for. 12. Traffic from Wikipedia - getting a link/traffic from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a known source for Google's Knowledge Graph and a very Authorative site. 13. Search Query ends on your page - meaning the searcher does not need to continue searching for information on that query. 14. Bookmarks - when people save your page/site in their favorites on the toolbar. Not 3rd party bookmarking sites(1999 is history). 15. Short Videos (Tiktok, shorts, reels) - including these in posts even if they're not your own helps rankings. 16. Keywords in URL - include up to 3 main keywords in the URL is ideal. Never include useless words like "and", "the", etc. 17. Returning Users - the more often users return the better, gives a quality signal 18.
